High Gro Kennels and Cattery is a fully licensed, family run boarding kennels
set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales between Hellifield and Coniston Cold.
A convinient location for Hellifield, Settle, Skipton, Grassington and the
surrounding area, our excellent facilities provide your pets with
everything they could possibly need and much more besides!
About Our Kennels and Cattery
High Gro Kennels and Cattery opened in 2017 by Adrian and Gemma Beresford. Adrian and Gemma have lived and worked on the High Gro land for generations and in 2016 they decided that they needed to diversify. So out went the herd of milk cows to be replaced by a state of the art kennels and cattery.
Located just outside Hellifield on the A65, High Gro is a great location for Dog and Cat owners looking for a Kennels near Skipton, Settle, Grassington and Hellifield. People coming from further afield to enjoy a holiday or day out in the Yorkshire Dales often need somewhere safe and secure to leave their pets for the day whilst they visit the Coniston Cold Hotel & Spa, and High Gro are delighted to provide this service.
All our facilities are brand new and purpose built as of 2017. We currently have 16 heated Dog Kennels, each one with 54 square feet of floor space for your dogs to enjoy. Our ever expanding Cattery also provides your cats with fully heated and secure chalets, along with plenty of attention from our animal loving staff!
All our guests are treated to regular excercise in our large grass runs, as well as regular walks through the acres of private farmland and countryside that's located on our door step.
High Gro Kennels and cattery is the perfect destination for your four legged friends whether they are staying with us for the day or longer.

“BEAUTIFUL MODERN KENNELS” in a superb rural location
A massive thank you to Gemma for looking after Milo and Casey at short notice for 2 days especially when they haven't been in kennels since they were pups and at 6 are now rather spoiled. They were rather anxious as was their Owner but Gemma sent us a video and photos later in the day to show that they had settled well. We could the enjoy our trip fully. How To Find High Gro
We are located between Hellifield and Coniston Cold. If you're coming to us from the South, follow the A65 through Coniston Cold and past the Coniston Hotel. High Gro is approx half a mile past the Coniston Hotel on the left hand side of the road. If coming from the North, follow the A65 through Hellifield and after climbing up the hill out of the village High Gro is around a quarter of a mile along the road on your right. Keep an eye out for our signs at the end of the farm track and continue up the track until you reach us.
